Since 2014 we are the only Croatian member of Oaklins – the world’s most successful and most experienced mid-market organization of M&A advisors. Although the focus of the business is on M&A, in certain specific situations we also provide strategic advisory services and advisory in business restructuring and reorganization projects.
In 55% of closed M&A transactions to date, we acted as a sell-side advisor, whereas we were positioned on the buy-side in the remaining 45%. Of all the transactions 70% were cross-border, while 30% were domestic.

OUR TEAM
Željko Perić is the founder and Managing Partner of Caper, Oaklins member firm from Zagreb, Croatia. Prior to founding Caper in 2005, Željko spent 20 years holding senior managerial positions with some of the leading regional companies. He was CEO of Lura (today named Dukat), one of the largest dairy companies in the CEE. Before joining Lura, Željko spent nine years as a finance director and CFO of PLIVA, the largest pharmaceutical company in the CEE, which was at the time listed on the London Stock Exchange. Throughout his career, Željko has led his teams in numerous cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, capital raising and various other corporate finance projects.
Željko graduated in Economics from the University of Zagreb and subsequently continued his management education at Harvard Business school, IMD, Management Centre Europe and IEDC.

oško Vučetić is a Managing Partner at Caper, Oaklins member firm from Zagreb, Croatia. Prior to joining Caper in 2005, Joško spent two years in Lura, one of the largest dairy companies from CEE. Before that, Joško worked for two years in the M&A division of Pliva, the largest pharmaceutical company in the CEE region. He has extensive experience in cross border acquisitions, having worked on transactions worth over US$ 1 billion across various sectors. During his professional experience he was also personally involved in a number of projects in corporate and project finance, divestments and restructurings while working with some of the leading regional companies.
Joško attended Syracuse University School of Management where he majored in finance and supply chain management.

Joško Vučetić is a Managing Partner at Caper. Prior to joining Caper in 2005, Joško spent two years in Lura, one of the largest dairy companies from CEE.
Katarina Čuić is M&A Director at Caper, Oaklins member firm from Zagreb, Croatia. After graduating from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb, Katarina joined Podravka where she worked as a Specialist for mergers and acquisitions on Podravka Group level. She continued her career at Financial Advisory Department of Deloitte. As a member of Valuation&Modeling team, she worked on different projects. She was also engaged in purchase price allocation analysis, due diligence and financial restructuring projects. Prior to joining Caper, Katarina worked within the Business Controlling at Ericsson Nikola Tesla d.d.

Denis Sablić is a Senior Associate at Caper. He received his Master’s degree in Finance from the Harvard Extension School and a Bachelor’s degree from the Zagreb School of Economics and Management. He was a peer tutor at the Economics department during his Bachelor’s studies. He has passed the CFA Level I exam.
Denis is fluent in English and German.

He also attended the Summer School Program at Bocconi University. He was a peer tutor at the Department of Finance during his Bachelor's studies.
